The fans were hoping that Konami had announced a new Suikoden 6 RPG game, but so far no plans for a future title are on the shelf for it

Now that the E3 show has kicked off, and the Suikoden movement by the fans is still going on, there has been this overwhelming desire to see Suikoden 6 get announced. Unfortunately the main focus this year has been on three main Konami games, which are PES 2014, The Phantom Pain, and Lords of Shadow 2. Konami had stated last January when the Revival movement started, that they wanted to see both Suikoden I and II make it to other formats for mobile and Cloud Steam services.

The need for a new RPG game is due to the fact that there hasn't been much activity with Suikoden in a long time, and that's something that needs to change soon. The series has lacked the proper support it's needed, and no new title has even been announced yet, or has plans to. For those of you who are not familiar with the Suikoden movement, let me bring you up to speed.

The movement was started on Facebook, and has grown ever so popular over time. The idea behind it was to get the attention of Konami, and let them know that there is a wide market of long time devoted fans out there that are dying to get their hands on a new title, preferably Suikoden 6. The last recent activity that I myself talked about this twice, was the massive 650 track soundtrack that's been available for well over two years now. Here is the list if you care to look.

Genso Suikoden (1995)(PS1)
Genso Suikoden II (1998)(PS1)
Genso Suikoden Gaiden Vol.1 (2000)(PS1)
Genso Suikoden Gaiden Vol.2 (2001)(PS1)
Genso Suikoden III (2002)(PS2)
Genso Suikoden IV (2004)(PS2)
Rhapsodia (2005)(PS2) – Suikoden Tactics in America.
Genso Suikoden V (2006)(PS2)
Genso Suikoden Tierkreis (2008)(DS)

That pretty much covered the entire spectrum of titles for the series. The soundtrack was released in March of 2011, and the time between now and then is a bit too far if you ask the fan base. So if you want to get in on the movement crowd, or just hang out there and make some new friends who are also fans like you, then feel free to do so at the official Facebook page for the movement.
